Fighting Hawks offer Justin Holm - 6' 6" WR - Lincoln Southwest (NB)
    Looks like his 1st offer

The FH's also offered another tall WR - 6' 4" Garett Maag of St Croix Lutheran
Maag has a preferred walk-on offer from the Gophers.

Another WR offer by the Fighting Hawks is to C. J. Seigel of La Crosse Logan (WI)

The one I saw today said he was accepting a preferred walk-on.

    Fear The Tree!!!

Indiana State on fire in getting commits. (according to their board)
10 commits so far, 6 on June 24th alone, including 3 from the state of Illinois.

    C. J. Rutherford - ATH - Chicago Lindblom (NDSU offer)
Giavion Mason - FS - Kankakee IL (Bishop McNamara)
Tierre Turner - DT - Chicago Simeon

So far none of the recruits who have verballed are from either Minnesota or Wisconsin.

New Indiana State Head Coach Mallory & Co are off to a fast start. Will be interesting to see if they pattern themselves after Coach Bohl and Wyoming's system and style of play.

Yea! Fighting Hawks get their 2nd verbal, S Kadon Kauppinen, Sun Prairie WI
Had an offer from Winona State. Ran a 4.5 at the WFCA Combine.

1st FH verbal was OL Rain Slater, 6'3“, 315, 5.1, Winnipeg (St. Johns)

Sioux Falls Washington LB Seth Benson was SDSU's 4th verbal.

They have now offered OL Joe Schreiber, 6' 3" 285, Eden Prairie MN.
Schreiber just earned a camp offer from NDSU a few days ago.

    Fearing The Tree Part II.....
Now my North Dakota math counts 18 commits for Indiana State and new Head Coach Mallory.
Maybe Coach Olson can work on his golf game this summer a little more than previously planned.....

That's funny! Hadn't scrolled that far down to see that.
Well, lotsa talent within 4 hours of Terre Haute, maybe they did not realize how how good their closing skills were on getting new players to help with rebuilding the program.....

There is a lot of really good football talent in Indiana and they are also close to Louisville, Chicago and St. Louis and not terribly far from Cincinnati, Milwaukee, Memphis, and Nashville. There are a lot of D1 schools in that footprint, but it also means there are plenty of kids that fall through the cracks if you are good at finding them. And even better if you are good at developing them. It's surprising IU and Purdue haven't done better with the improvement of Indiana high school football.

There are some legitimate programs on the commit list from Indiana. One kid to watch this Fall is Titus McCoy. He doesn't look like he should be a tough back, but he is strong and quick and made several good defensive teams (including the one Michael Tutsie played for) look bad. He was injured most of last year and his back up earned a scholarship to Louisville.
