With two QBs that are going to be Seniors next year, I'm surprised they didn't sign one this year.

3 recruits are listed as athletes. Farley is just trying to keep us guessing.

South Dakota Coyotes with their own Florida pipeline, signing 6 players (combined) in the 2 signing periods from that state (NDSU signed 4 Floridians).

The makeup of this group is quite different than the one the Coyotes signed in December. That list was loaded with interior players, specifically on the offensive and defensive lines.

This time the main focus was on the perimeter......

Despite winning the recruiting battle for PWO TE Ryan Mazurek with NDSU, the Coyotes still only had 4 Minnesota players in their 2018 class. Have been wondering if Coach Nielson, with his Minnesota Duluth connections, would get more & more of his recruits from Minnesota, but so far no.

Looks like USD is recruiting well. Took a 3* RB(Canaan Brooks, he looks legit) out of Missouri with an FBS offer, an OL from WI with an FBS and UNI offer, WR from Missouri with a Wyo offer. I still don't know how anyone recruits to Vermillion, but good for Nielson.

USD outperformed Mr. Nutmeg and his cocky staff this year by far. USD will overtake SDSU in SD IMO, as long as Nielson doesn't bolt

I'll disagree with your conclusion. Are you aware of the number of assistant coaches who have announced they're leaving USD? Here's the list of departures (from the USD message board, goyotes.net):

Coby Felts - Offensive Quality Control
John Litrenta - Defensive Quality Control
Zach Parrella - GA
Jevon Bowmen - Strength Coach


That's a lot of turnover in one year.
