His yards were down because his carries were down, but his YPC was better than his sophomore year, I wouldn't exactly call that regressing. He played more on special teams (being one of the best return men at this level), UND has multiple talented backs and their offense regressed overall with poor offensive line play. You seem to be the only one talking about him at the next level, he'll earn whatever loook he gets.
I’ve seen him play live several times over last 2-3 years. I’d take Lance Dunn and or Bruce Anderson over him ANY day of week and twice on Saturdays. They are better backs. Also, and similar to that LB you guys had a few years ago, Santiago has a strange looking body and running style—weird is more like it.

He runs like old crazy legs. They’re all over the place. Not pretty, but he absolutely makes guys look silly.

Hero Sports ranks the Top 25 FCS recruits in the nation.
7 are from Ivy League schools, only 3 are MVFC recruits. 2 of the MVFC recruits are from NDSU, 1 from Illinois State.
    Saybein Clark #7
    Trey Lance # 16
    Mike Gardner - Illinois State - # 25

In a sign of the strength of an Ivy League education, #1 Brevin White from Lancaster CA, turned down Tennessee at the end, plus 5 PAC 12 offers, to sign with Princeton. Princeton had 4 players in the Top 25.

True to form you are wrong. This year he was a first team all American as an all purpose player not as a returner.

I think the Ivys get some really good top end (by FCS standards) recruits but their classes don't generally have much depth. Most of the places that rate the overall FCS classes rate the Ivys high because they have a few players that lift up the whole class when in reality a place like NDSU has a better overall class due to the depth of the class.

Quite frankly I don’t see why more kids don’t do that. A free Ivy education really sets the stage, even if you do end up going to the NFL.

Do Ivy players get scholly's? Didn't think so, I was always under the impression you got a little help but not much

You don't go to an Ivy School unless you are poor or super rich. There is no inbetween.

There is no evidence whatsoever that proves grads of Ivy League Schools make more because they went to an Ivy League The fact they earned their way into an Ivy League school has more to do with it. There were many studies that concluded concluded that students, who were accepted into elite schools, but went to less selective institutions, earned salaries just as high as Ivy League grads. There even a study that shows high SAT score kids who were rejected from Ivy schools earn about the same.

I probably wouldn't hire an Ivy League graduate unless he got a scholarship because anyone who takes on a few hundred grand worth of debt is either gullible or just makes bad decisions. And if the parents paid for it, you are talking over privileged which is even worse. Plus Ivy people strike me as smug over privileged elitists.

Ivy League = Overrated education and a poor value. It's like graduating and taking out a loan for a 90k car.

Yep. Mostly true at the bachelor level, absolutely not true at the masters level. A high end BS/BA will help, but not guarantee, entry into a high end masters program. There absolutely is a correlation, and it’s more than SAT. If your living in Fargo ND after college, none of this matters even the slightest, but say your going into investment banking, consulting, or high tech (where the high paying jobs are)? Only a fool would say it’s not a huge deal
