At least it'll be his job to lose.

Because the guy they had pegged as Lecompte's replacement turned out tp be a total basketcase. Ian Gallagher I think was his name. He got busted for breaking into parked cars off the field and on the field for the only time he ever really was in the 2016 spring game he had trouble even catching a snap.
When I saw Ian Gallagher's mug shot on the news I started laughing and hollered at my wife to come look at the news. I seriously thought he was on the news for getting busted by the cops and giving them a fake name. Turns out he wasn't a huge shameless fan but on the news because he was supposed to be a Bison football player.

It also helps to get a punter who can catch a football. Doesn't do much good if you can punt but can't catch the snap.

    Lardsin must go!

Yeah, he did. Pretty tough to hold that against him though when his first kick ever in a game was getting inserted midway into a tightly contested championship game.

During halftime warmups this year Wegner certainly seemed to have more "pop in his bat" than Koonce did at least when I was paying attention. Hopefully now he'll get more live reps in practice with the special teams unit and can translate that into game situations this year.

Iowa has been doing great on getting PWO’s this year also. The Hawkeyes just got a verbal for a PWO from another former 2018 NDSU offer -
Ben Subbert - 6-foot-4, 235-pound TE from Williamsburg, IA.
Subbert had many offers during recruiting, and his 3 finalists were UNI, USD and NDSU. His brother plays for Iowa so this looks like his dream destination.

Subbert and Klemp (a LB) will have plenty of company, especially Klemp.
Iowa is up to 17 PWO’s now, with 7 of them being LB’s and 2 being FB’s.
You know Iowa is doing something right when they are snagging Bison recruits.

I feel like that is a miss on NDSUs part. He seems like a football player.

I know we're loaded at RB numbers wise... but I really wanted him to be a Bison.

I really wanted Weah to be a Bison. He is small in stature but very explosive and he plays with huge heart.

He's the type of player we built this run around. I know we have high numbers at RB, but we saw how quickly that can change this year. Find it hard to believe we couldn't find a spot for a hometown player.
