Great win for the Bison! Defensively the Jacks were basically chasing Miller. Khy, Dupree and especially AJ stepped up their game. I was critical of AJ after the Yote game about being MIA and not being able to finish when taking it to the basket. Last night he was aggressive penetrating and initiated contact. When he didn't finish he got the line. Well done AJ!
How about Dex! Gets the job done every night. We would be f'd without him!

It has been awhile since I watched a team play as tight of D on one player as they did non Paul. They were face guarding him with a defender that didn't worry about help D at all, not one bit, They were not going to let Paul beat them last night. Props to them for trying, it didn't work but it did force people who had kind of been in a funk to step up. Can we please see that AJ every night he played great last night.

That zone they threw at us though was hard to watch the guys play during that time. We were stuck on 61 for what seemed like forever. It was like they were standing holding the ball in one hand and their junk in the other. In my opinion that was a huge coaching breakdown last night. We are up huge with time outs to spare, Dave should have taken a time out after the second trip down the floor against the zone and settled them down and got the team all on the same page.

In his first 22 games played, AJ averaged 10.3 ppg.

Hopefully a big confidence boost last night that will carry forward.

The kid has the talent. Just seemed to be so afraid to fail in some earlier games.
