As a Calendar year end entity, I find it surprising they would have 2018 results available to report. Thus my thinking it would a fiscal year end.

Why? It's not like TM changes a lot from year to year. And almost all the major donations are handled way back in June-August. Only late-game variables would seem to be the numbers from the last playoff games(50/50 raffle, tailgating fees, etc.). I would think they have more than enough time and info to be able to put out a press release and hand over a giant check prop. Exact numbers will be handled by their accountants over the next month or two to put together their tax forms, but I'm sure the prelim work is already done.

In my experience in public accounting I find very few companies that would have their financials completed by the end end of January. I assume Team Makers has an financial audit, which would not be completed by the end of January.

You are correct it probably does not change much from year to year but making an announcement this quickly is usual.

Anyone know how much of that $5.56 million in cash is from donations/seat fees and how much is from gambling?

Best I can do is the 2016 calendar year.

Membership donations not tied to seats(I think): $587,096 (also might be corporate TM dues)
    Seat Fees: $3,864,700
    Tailgating: $237,144
    Auction: $4,445
Gambling: $436,102 (I believe this includes the 50/50 raffle plus other gaming)
    Investment Income: $102,829
    Other Donations: $1,587,267
    Total Revenue*: $6,657,821

*there are some other columns I didn't include; that's why it doesn't add up

I dont know their year end. If it’s calendar that’s pretty fast for a year end close. But what we're talking about here is a cash disbursement. They don’t have to wait around for books to be closed let alone an audit completed in order to cut a check.

In a good year with 6 home games, that 50/50 must yield at least $100k.

There was a big drop in basketball season tickets for 2017-18 season. Most probably had seat dues that didn't get renewed.
