Yeah, cause what you want to do when you're leading NDSU is dream out loud in front of 141 people in Bismarck who's mission in life is to destroy your institution. That can only go well.

Christ, they could barely get local sales tax revenue for the FFD because NDSU was attached to it.

We all live in stories... It seems to me that a definition of any living vibrant society is that you constantly question those stories... The argument itself is freedom. It's not that you come to a conclusion about it. Through that argument you change your mind sometimes... That's how societies grow. When you can't retell for yourself the stories of your life then you live in a prison... Somebody else controls the story. - S. Rushdie

I dont know why you keep talking about lack of leadership. How can you righteously put our current leadership down when it was you who called for Gene Taylor and Craig Bohl to be fired?????

It seem it is you who has a problem recognizing good leaders even though they are staring you right in the face.

You are continually attacking our leadership. Constantly. Facts is you called for GT and GB to be fired for lack of leadership. Since you were woefully wrong on that count what makes you think youre correct on our current leadership?

Where does that come from???? Go back and look at your previous posts. Its no secret.

A new stadium could be built for far less than $300 million.

The powers that be might need to consider outdoor options.

If the stadium has to have a roof, then we'll be in the dome forever.

If youre going to go the other route then you are looking at the Bunnies stadium. If you think attendance varies now what do you think is going to happen during inclimate weather. Especially during the playoffs. That will also eliminate families with kids. I just cant see it.

I would build it differently. I think an extra $50 million could get some big club areas(kind of like Target Field has) and make it more enclosed. The school should consult with a stadium design firm and put a concept together at least. Measure what kind of reception it gets.

It would still be problematic but most of the issues would be for playoff games, where the school doesn't exactly see much of the revenue from anyway.

Heres a thought. Regular season outdoor. Playoffs in the dome.
