Yes, this defense would look different with Cox and Hayes
It is what it is, and it’s the future. I support the team we have now, and they’ve looked really great at times

The TP will create parity across all of D1 with a clear pecking order. You might even be able to see it already in Sagarin. FCS will feel the sting the worse

The good news is that the games will be exciting and it will be hard to maintain a dynasty
Good coaching and good use of the TP will be critical

We have not been lucky with injuries this season, but are still a contender. Go Bison!
If there is a position group where NDSU can spare someone it's at DB

North Dakota State, a football team the big boys of college football should avoid like the plague, helped christen a $90 million renovation to Snyder Family Stadium — including a statue of famed Kansas State coach Bill Snyder himself — by taking a sledgehammer to the place.

Seems like a good candidate to be a PFA. I wish him luck, but it does make me sad to think what our defense could have been with Jasir and Hayes.

He was a starting Dback on a Big12 champion team, and pretty sure he was Big12 player of the week at least once this year. I think he’s got a good shot at being drafted.

Likely depends on how he tests out. I don't remember Hayes being the fastest guy out there. So if he doesn't time well he may get bumped lower or may need to consider a switch to safety.

I think he was playing Safety at Kstate? Could be wrong there…

OK that helps his stock a lot then. I didn't watch Kstate much this year. If he already has that experience at safety I am guessing he is a late round selection. He can be a good special teamer any way

KSU switched to the 3-3-5 this year which gave Hayes the opportunity which he took advantage of.
