Puzzling departure. It seems more like he quit on the team than wanted to transfer to a higher level.
Inforum article made it seem like he didn't like his role as leader on the team this strange season? Seems weak, but I guess best of luck to him.

Be nice if they could get it through the coaches head to shut this stupid spring season down and start getting ready for the fall. Sometimes I think they're playing for Entz's ego and he has a superbowl every weekend. Life will go on if ndsu doesn't play the rest of the spring.

That hurts.... clearly the top CB on the team and there's not a lot of depth behind him. Fantastic tackler for his size. He never redshirted so I thought there was a great chance he'd be back in the fall but maybe he's graduating in May so he can grad transfer.

That's not going to help the transfer situation, if anything it would hurt it. Illinois St had 3 or 4 players hit the portal the week after they Spacked out. If it's Entz's ego that is stopping them from quitting I'm glad he has that ego.

1. The FCS was the Best option for NDSU for a very long time.
2. As a general rule- the FCS sucks at football and has proven that is not committed to football at all.
