Hopefully the lack of success of Hayes & cofield will slow this trend.
I am all for the opportunity that cox got, but that is going to be the exception and not the norm.
I believe these two made a big mistake moving on, but maybe there were other reasons. If it was a straight football move. Yikes

I agree. It does not help one's career playing CB in a school that preaches running the ball 8 times out of 10.

Yeah those Alabama and Georgia corners have had such a tough run this past decade.

I have no idea how this could even make any sense

Yeah it doesn’t help, doesn’t hurt either. Means fuck all.

Btw the Virginia secondary is terrible and last I checked he’s not getting a sniff of the field. Not sure why he left. Was a net negative for both parties. Best of luck to him

Please explain how a CBs career would be impacted if the offense ran 8 out of 10 times?

Weakness in pass protection. I am going based on the notes from NFL scouts regarding Derrek Tuszka and Jabril Cox.

The relevance question is one half of the comment relates to our offense but the other half relates to defense. Why would our defense be weakened by our offense? They plan for and practice for and play against offenses from other teams.
We missed hayes in the spring because his departure was unexpected, like a misfire. This fall we have reloaded and we will see what ammo we have now.
you mess with the ^Bison^ you get the horns

I'm sorry to see Hayes struggle. He has been injured so maybe he isn't all there yet. These guys that come to NDSU, do the right things, graduate, and move on for a grad year have my support 100%. I don't really like it but they have held up their end of the deal and that's all we can ask of them. With that said, if your a two time all American at NDSU your going to get a shot at the Senior Bowl and NFL. I'm not sure they will get those looks at WKU and UVA.
