You would think Frost would bring his DC

Florida might get Frost first, I don't think we see CK going anywhere this year, but another run to the NC and win it you never know, might be a little late then for hiring

I’m thinking Mike Houston will be hired away shortly.

Campbell has to buyout his remaining contract in its entirety. Right now it is $9.4M. That is a pretty steep starting point. $9.4M just to get him into the door. Conversely, Klieman has a much easier buyout to handle. "Like all coaching contracts, it’s still possible for Klieman to leave to another school via a buyout. In this case, it would cost Klieman, or another school if it paid it, $320,000 until January of 2017. It would be reduced to $150,000 yearly hereafter."(Kolpack)

ISU did a good job protecting itself should Campbell decide to take the offer of another program. You can turn around and hire a pretty decent coach for 5 years, $9.4M. Since that would be free money coming their way and still budgeted for the $9.4M anyways, that could be the kind of money it would take to lure Chucky out of retirement. $18.8M for 5 years.

Probably old news here, but I saw this morning that Bret Bielema was fired at Arkansas immediately after loss to Mizzou yesterday. That opens up a pretty good $4MM FBS job for someone.

Probably but you never know what could happen.

I do think if Klieman ever wants to be a head coach at a power five school he'll need to be a DC first since he doesn't really have an FBS experience...similar to Beau Baldwin.
NDSU to the FBS always. In all ways.

didn't say that although I see how it might be inferred.
I inferred that the coaching change carousel has started. Eventually it opens up G5 jobs, etc because not everyone gets to stay employed at the same level.
