Bison up by 10 early, but give it all back and lose 81-67.

I watched this on the YouTube feed. It's amazing how bad we are. It's like we are running in mud. So slow. If anybody bothers to scout our team it's not rocket science. Put a hand in Taylor's face. This team left her open in the beginning. She got easy looks That's our whole offense. Just terrible. There is no question this is our worst team In Our history. The skill set is so bad. I can't believe they are so bad they can't be coached up to a d1 level. But so far coaching and recruiting failures

Right NOW they are the worst ever but you can't just magically expect a team of true freshman to be good. We're talking girls that a year ago were in friggin high school. To take a step forward you need to take a step backwards. Or at least that's the theory Let's assume it's going to be a tough season and revisit this discussion late in the year and see how we look

agree with that, but this is painful, year three for walseth, going into year four with not alot of talent.. This recruiting looks as bad as dehoffs... maybe worse

You can't say there isn't talent when it hasn't been developed. We're talking true freshman here. If we look this bad late in the year and early next year then it may be true. I'll say this. These girls looked like they needed a red shirt year because they still lack fundamentals. They will have to learn on the fly. And by returning someone like Holly Johnson for a year may have made us slightly better (but still mediocre) but it would have slowed the development of the freshman and gave us one less scholarship player. If they keep improving, we could be good next year and better the next 2 years

I think if you even enter the game for 1 minute, you lose the year. If it's an injury, you can apply for a medical reshirt if you play something like less than 30% of the season.

On the flip side we're going to suck pretty bad but nothing is better than playing this early. A weird advantage is... when someone gets hurt, they can redshirt that year if it happens early.
