Well, nobody is going to feel bad for us. I'm looking forward to enjoying the holidays for the first time in a while without having to worry about getting someone to watch my kids and making it to the airport on time.

This^^^ and trying to find tickets and reasonable airfare and figuring out the work schedule...and then always contemplating am I going or not, am I going or not....never knowing for sure until the last minute.
This is going to be relaxing in a lot of ways...After initially being upset, I started to think about everything above and then let out a decent sigh of relief...
