Jordy Nelson is really fast.....Does Illies have the speed and the route running ability to be a wide out?

And does he have the ability to catch the ball on a consistent basis. The TE corps seemed to struggle with that this past season.

Have to admit I've wondered about splitting him out myself but wasn't sure on the speed issue but if you think so that's good enough for me. Has the kind of size you want for sure!

Seems like he is the one te that doesn't drop many passes and looks plenty fast for his size. I'm interested to see if ellefson can make a bigger impact.

Illies breaks tackles and makes plays when he gets the ball. We need more of that

from what I've seen Illes is more athletic than Vraa albeit without the elite hands (but still quite good)

So did Radunz impress the coaches a lot this past year? I see a lot of predictions where he takes the LT position....just wondering if anyone had any hard info on that or is just speculation?

Coach K even mentioned him specifically competing for a spot. Normally they dont say those kind of things unless there's some merit to it. Maybe he is that good to get LT, or Connor would be a better fit at Guard than he would.

From my memory, Coach K on the Bison football show said something to the effect that Radunz could be a 4 year starter. Says he has the athleticism of a TE.

If that's the case it COULD be......Radunz/Kuhnert/Volson/Conner/Johnson across the line. I know they haven't played together as a unit/in those positions but it doesn't sound quite as bad as replacing 3 starters with unexperienced guys....considering Volson started a couple of games and Johnson played quite a bit last yr.

That is a more athletic line than last year. Not sure if as physical but these guys can move
