Agreeing with TAB is a risky move, just trying to be a gentleman and give you an opportunity to retract.

Heffray knows me well...I love a good discussion/argument, and don't care if I am promoting something I don't believe...gets good discussion going and I can see how well the person can back up their beliefs.

In this case, I was being genuine.

Now AlumniGreen mentions me/my comments in the same though as a Supreme Court Justice...I'll have to file that away in breaking-down memory bank.*

When the recent ForumComm (I view it as an entity, not unique papers) article about enrollments was released the lead was UND at over 14k.
The detail that NDSU was down (-290) again this fall was buried in a factoid paragraph 2/3 of the way through the article.
I'd call that ForumComm protecting NDSU from scrutiny.

The article could've been written as "NDSU enrollment problems continue" (Chapo's claimed Forum hates NDSU narrative) and focused on that with only a late blurb on UND being up.

It doesn't matter to me if that was the headline, because it is true. I refer you back to my earlier post. If the Forum did that, it would again basically prove what I said --- NDSU supporters would be pissed about the Forum blasting negativity about NDSU and UND supporters would be pissed about the Forum burying the good news about UND. I guess maybe 2 separate articles with different headlines would be only way to make all the wussies happy.

It's funny to read the Forum bashing on Bisonville for being so anti-NDSU compared to the Forum bashing on SS.com for being so pro-NDSU.

NDSU and UND fans: bunch of F'Hawking snowflakes.

This must be what tjamz feels like when ripping equally on Republicans and Democrats.

I spent the bye week hauling and spreading and leveling black dirt in the yard and along the sides of my shiny new asphalt to the man cave. More time spreading grass seed and fertilizer, raking it in and then covering with straw. A bunch more time debugging the irrigation system that usually only runs at night so I could keep all that new seed wet. Since I finished last Saturday we have caught up from the entire summer drought with new rainfall. Just this morning I think we got another several inches. I now have two more new "ponds" in the yard and I discovered that something has built a nest in one of my gutters. I'm not sure if any of that grass seed is still there or if it all floated away down to the creek behind the house.

It sure was nice to hear thunder again though.

Shoulda bought that crop insurance...
