I would venture to say that more college FB fans across the country know more of NDSU FB based on our 5 FCS Championships, multiple games televised on ESPN, College GameDay x2, etc than they do about some random SunBelt, MAC or WAC team.

Do people watch gameday anymore?

Yeah, playing against the best teams in the country doesn't excite me either. Playing against the likes of LSU, FSU, Michigan, etc doesn't hold a candle to playing Towson in a soccer stadium.

We won't be playing LSU, FSU, or Michigan on a consistent basis. NDSU isn't getting in a P5 conference. I'll really look forward to watching MACtion with 5k people on a Tuesday night.

Exactly! The way FBS is structured currently, G5 is a no-man's land. Nothing to play for - games on weekday nights and WhoCare.com Bowls in a half empty stadium?? No thanks!

No on the number of fans recognizing NDSU.

More importantly, if we were in the MAC or Belt, the objective wouldn't be national recognition. It would be growing our program. The simple answer would be that the Fargodome has plenty of seats for Maction. Huge REGRESSION.

Anybody watch BGU vs Toledo? On TV it looked like a couple hundred fans. There were obviously more on the camera side of the field. Still pathetic.
