Wait, what? A school can lobby a conference to move up? Who knew?

    Sarcasm intended …

No, I don't have Bison fatigue. Not at all. Very excited for the season.

My fatigue relates to something else ..

Here was a 247 KState idea of what the Big 12 should do from a few weeks ago:

    https://twitter.com/GPCwallace/statu...518060546?s=20

I posted about this several times on Bison Report in past weeks as it looked like NDSU’s best chance for a Mountain West invitation. This idea had the Big 12 going to 16 teams, 4 divisions and poaching 3 current Mountain West teams. (Boise State, Colorado State and UNLV)

If the Big 12 starts by going with 12* teams instead, adding BYU and 3 AAC teams, that leaves the Mountain West untouched, greatly reducing NDSU’s chances……

*14 counting Texas & Oklahoma for the next few seasons

Love your stuff bruin. Always look forward to reading your posts.

But the AAC will be a shell of its former self, so why not there? NDSU is bigger and better academically than it gets credit for around here (go figure).

At any rate, at this point I’d rather focus on the season.

Missed UC Davis last night. They legit?

Keep in mind, Even if the B12 doesnt take any MWC teams, I would still imagine the AAC would want to replace their teams- and I think the MWC programs could fit the bill.

I would guess the short list of teams the AAC would target would include: Boise, App state, army, louisiana, coastal Carolina, liberty etc.

Just because the B12 may not grab MWC teams, doesnt mean the american wont.
    1. The FCS was the Best option for NDSU for a very long time.
    2. As a general rule- the FCS sucks at football and has proven that is not committed to football at all.
    3. It's time to go FBS

Lol the cognitive dissonance required to believe this take is astounding. "If you dont think the FCS is #ELITE than you arent truly a fan!". Its literally ad hominem, a logical fallacy.

Teach, just say "I dont think we should go FBS- I dont care what evidence is presented to me, I think the FCS is where we belong." At least that would be honest. Instead of accusing people of being bandwagon fans lol. yikes dood

I don’t know anything about the AAC so interesting to read what you guys have to say about it.
If the AAC were to get poached for 3 teams by the Big 12, would James Madison have a chance to go there? Or would the AAC raid the Sun Belt and any others???

So to edit this a little further, iirc the Big 12 tv contract expires in 2025, making Texas & Oklahoma free agents who can head into the SEC. If, near that time, the Big 12 wants to grow again knowing they need a new tv contract, maybe then the Mountain West gets raided……

    hurry up and wait…

……just think how Boise State feels watching BYU get in while they ‘wait’.

My Bison fatigue is located in the lack of being able to play FBS opponents. I don’t give two shits if it’s P5 G5 Indy. Sucks hearing other MVFC teams getting games on the regular and here we are playing fucking Albany. Ugh, I need a nap.

If only we weren’t so good, we’d get better games.
