It's all about the Benjamins and having a conference invite us. Our footprint is east, not west.
Do you think the MAC is that much better than where we are? Then it comes to the money.
63 to 85 at approx. $20,000 plus title IX gives you 44 @ $20,000 is $880,000 plus cost of attendance
    at 44 @ $3,400 comes to $149,600 for a total of $1,029,600. You don't get there at $100 a person,
which is where you're Chappo. You want to go big time, you have to put up or shut up.

I see we're back to the logic that if Chapo doesnt personally donate $1,000,000/yr then it means FBS is automatically a bad idea in every regard.
    1. The FCS was the Best option for NDSU for a very long time.
    2. As a general rule- the FCS sucks at football and has proven that is not committed to football at all.
    3. It's time to go FBS

Sorry if I infringed on the personal board of a few of you.
I've been trying to raise funds for over 40 years, even ran the Bison
Open for 15 years. Need more people to help. Maybe it's time
for some of you to help us get to the next level if you think
it's so important. This town only supports winners, not the average
    programs.

Watching blowouts gets boring to a lot of people. That's life. At some point you begin to question if it's excellence in action or if one of the teams in the division simply doesnt fit the rest anymore.

Not saying its right or wrong, just a reasonable and common view of things.

Tired of winning so easily. Sounds like you should become a UNI or Iowa State fan!

Iowa St is my Big 12 team oddly enough.

Never had a lot of animus towards UNI either. They played a big part in NDSU's wakeup call to step up at the FCS level.
