If the bison go up independent then the MT and SD schools come as well and most likely UND.... NO way in hell those states fans and state goverments are gonna allow themselves to become second banana to ND.... and no way UND allows themselves to get left behind for a second time.. and what happens if we do go without them then get into a conference keep our great brand and tradition and become the next Boise St in their back yard....

I love how everyone romanticizes these playoffs where we are 30-1 since 2011 with a average victory of 30 plus points?

Boise State, they had a lot of momentum and things going their way..........about a decade ago. Since then, they, along with all the other G5 schools, have become irrelevant since the unofficial split around 2014. Yes, they've had pretty good teams, but the coverage and push isn't what they use to have.

TCU, on the other hand, got lucky when that Big 12 invite came. Too bad for Boise State, the Big East invite fell through and they had to take TCU's spot in the MW. Boise State would have been a better addition to the PAC 12 than CU-Boulder, who should have stayed in the Big 12.

Honestly, I'm still pissed we're not 32-0 instead. With that said, with this school's success and tradition, the level of recruits has increased since 2011. This is something the former players on Bison 1660 have talked about. Don't expect a drop-off anytime soon, if ever since a lot of these higher caliber athletes are choosing NDSU for a reason - to win Championships. No G5 teams can offer that, but a few FCS have a chance.
    Hail the BISON!!!

    There is not Bison fatigue.
Get Sam to bring back the chaps and schedule them again?
