You can have LA. I won’t be there. Never been to Boise so might give that a shot.

Breaking news: grass is brown in Tucson and PHX even in Sept. Jan in PHX wake up temp will be 45. Tee off at 10:00 and by the time you reach the 19th it will likely be 70. A slight upgrade from Dallas but without all the great BBQ. Very likely to be sunny though, 335 out of every 365.

Honolulu likely gonna price out a whole bunch of folks. Great seafood would be killer though. San Diego got the same weather less the trades and easier to get to. Plus you can make a quick side trip to Tijuana.

There’s too much bullshit in this thread and Lakes is contributing to it. Sorry Lakes, but I have to call you out here.

This program is succeeding and growing right now as we speak. The 2019 roster is proof of that and it is an awesome thing to witness and behold.

From a marketing perspective, NDSU is basically a high G5 already. Winning is fun, winning is great, and only losers/posers whine about this kind of success.

When NDSU is the sole D1 FB team in ND again – with 100 % backing in Bismarck – we can talk about moving up, because that is the ONLY scenario under which NDSU will ever get an FBS invite.

Until then, bring on the 7th graders, expand the trophy case, and STFU …

If they win out this year we will have lost basically 1... yes 1 game that really mattered in a decade and that was the JMU semi final.

I have a feeling if we go and like JMU and another big school go as well. the MT and SD schools will go with us.. they wont want to play in a worthless Non bison FCS and for sure don't want to be seen as second tier to a ND School... if we take them and UND maybe EWU and Northern Iowa that is a pretty competitive G5 conference... then see if they split or add playoffs.. until then our championship each year is winning that conference and see how high we can get ranked and maybe beat a couple of the big boys once in a while.... just think 10 years ago if you said NDSU will win 5 titles in a row and have a #2 draft pick- people in any Fargo bar would have laughed you out of the place.. so who knows what the future holds for us...
and "adventure" into independant FBS would absolutely destroy the Program, FYI you cant just "form" a G5 conference. UND cant afford its sports now, Montana's are NOT leaving the Big Sky. SD schools cant afford going FBS...oh and neither can NDSU. The MT, ND, SD, MN area has no room for 7 FBS schools

It really has nothing to do with any ones breaking point. It all has to do with a place to land. We need a home. So far I havent seen any conference willing to give us a spot. Dont care what the reason are or arent. You cant make any conference take you.

With that thought in mind---whats the move????
