I googled company XXX, they are in China. Threre were some other companies named the same also. However, most of the hits were the expected results!

It’s an NCAA regulation to only show one in-house replay per play in the playoffs... It’s to “alleviate” some of the home field advantage... BTW I did the replays for that 2014 SDSU game.

Interesting... good to know. Still doesn't make a lot of sense to me but it is what it is.

You did a good job because the replay in particular I remember was when they reviewed whether a pass was tipped which caused them to pick up a PI flag. The TV broadcast was on the white hat just talking into his headset when you can hear a massive chorus of boos from the crowd as they/we saw the replay for the first time and saw that the SDSU LB the umpire claimed tipped the ball was a good 6 feet away from it.

Also speaking of fatigued crowds one thing I will admit that got me pumped up in the past that they've quit doing is putting out hype videos for each playoff game. This one for the Richmond semifinal in 2015 is still my favorite.

I think one thing fans don’t necessarily consider when they are at the game is that in the control room, you have no more than 5-10 seconds to make a decision on what replay angle to show/edit (split-screen, zoom and isolations, etc.) after each individual play.. IIRC 2014 was the last year there was only the corner boards... Let me tell you, that first season with the leap with new boards/technology was like going from a rotary phone to an iPhone in one day, it was nuts to figure out.

Yeah, I'm sure it's tough. It was the "only one replay per play" rule that doesn't make much sense to me. I'm sure they're worried about home town bias on the replay board (only showing replays that favor the home team) but that should have very little if any impact on the game... the referees are professionals and I'd guess that (as Indy has attested to I believe) they're mostly oblivious to crowd reactions.

The stadium itself is decent but the rest of it sucks... No easy parking- only one road in and out of the entire area. No alcohol and the worst food selection of any stadium I have ever been in my life.... halftime is always the band which I cant stand.. its 2019 no one cares about a band but the parents..

I actually agree with you about the band being the only "entertainment" at halftime.

It's better than a pillow fight, but not by much.

Im with you until you trash the band, lol... What do you mean "its 2019!" Did something change in 2019 where marching bands arent cool anymore? did something change where they arent integral to the College football atmosphere? seriously wtf are you talking about lol? they are also the only students who show up, usually are huge fans, and stay until the end, and cheer loudly.

If you think REMOVING the band is going to make the atmosphere better you should be locked up in an insane asylum

I don't think anyone is saying "get rid of the band" but just looking for variety in the halftime show.
