Yeah. Science needs to be political now. Just like football and Bisonville. Science is getting just like religion. Just change it until it works for you.

When politicians use fringe scientific studies to push their agenda, you could interpret that as a flaw in the modern scientific process. But I would argue that it’s unethical political lobbying or pure ignorance at work.
