Especially with teams playing rivalry games on Thanksgiving weekend so we might end with a bye and then the Detroit bowl on a Tuesday before Christmas.
It's OK to not be OK.

I would bet anything that if NDSU was playing them this weekend it would be sold out out...

is anyone really excited about these FCS teams anymore? UND is fun to beat to rip on friends and coworkers, sdsu our big rival is 2-12 against us this decade.. JMU I would be excited to come play here again and that is it... id rather play Wyoming then any team in the FCS next year..

So many people think that FCS is down this year but I don't buy that argument. First, NDSU is really good this year, probably as good or better as any FCS team ever, and that tends to make the competition appear weak. Of course, there is still a lot of football to be played this season so time will tell if this year's Bison is the best.

NDSU has actually elevated the quality of FCS football. This is obvious from comparison of scores in FCS vs. FBS games. Many of those games are now competitive and FCS wins are not uncommon like they were a decade ago.

Many FCS teams have upgraded facilities so they can remain competitive in recruiting of players and coaches. These schools know they will never have the backing to be FBS so they do what they can to remain competitive with the NDSU's, Montana's and JMU's of FCS.

We all know that Bison fatigue is real but the "shiny new object" excitement was bound to abate at some point and perhaps recede to a lower level of fanaticism. Just think how envious other schools must be when NDSU "settles in" at sellout crowds and a full tailgating lot. Oh how they would love to have some of our Bison fatigue!

Perhaps the biggest on field brawl in NFL history last night and no Browns fans run out onto the field to join the fracas.

    Dawg pound fatigue?
