SF TV station predicts 5-7" here. Snow should end around noon Fri, and wind decrease by late afternoon. Sunny and 20s for Saturday.

If you're traveling today, be careful on the roads down here in the SE corner. Right now it seems to be winds plus heavy wet flakes. Once the snow stops, it should stick to the ground and not blow much. But it rained last night for a couple hours, so the roads could be icy underneath. I'm sure they've been dropping sand and/or salt, but there still could be slick patches.

I'll add that you want no part of SD right now; don't consider coming until afternoon, then see how the weather if and if crews have made progress. They are getting hammered in the typical area of Brookings to Sisseton. Horrible driving even in town in SF this morning.
