    Default YSU Post Game Thoughts

    1) Losing 99 is really going to hurt going forward. Let's hope it wasn't as serious as it seemed.
    2) Nice to finally capitalize on mistakes.
    3) Play calling seemed better at a glance. I'll admit I wasn't paying as close attention as usual this game as our party was bigger and more distracting than most weeks.
    4) Next time I complain about our offense I'm going to think about YSU's.
    5) How was that not an int in the 4th quarter? I missed the explanation.
    6) I really like the harvest helmets.
    7) On to the next one. Need to win out. No let downs.

I said it earlier and I'll say it again, Molock should be the featured back.

What was that? No speed? Really?

Good game today. I would still like to see the offensive play more aggressive in the second half and get more 1st downs, but really can't complain about the performance today.

Good job Bison! Great win today.

He bobbled it when he hit the ground.

Ran for 240 on a team giving up 102. Held a team averaging 237 to 92 rushing yards. Turnovers were huge.

Defense was damn solid, DE's got held all game. Nearly everything they got passing was some sort of screen or a dump off to Webb.

Damn we just gotta get healthy. Hope Tanguay is ok, would be great to get Bruce and King back soon.

O-line did a great job today against a good front 7, save for a couple series in the second quarter.

Stick needs to build some confidence, gonna need to be better going downfield and on third down.

    The good:
We scored a 4th Qtr TD for the 1st time in a month!
    Took advantage of turnovers.
Defense was great in the red zone!

    The wtf:
    Strange game. Y-town is physical.
Our passing game continues to struggle.
Hopefully Nate's injury isn't too serious.

Easton is in a rut. Still...we find a way to win most of the time. Hope he can find his way out.

I still say let the kid run more. It'll help everything, including his confidence.

Ya, I was complimentary of Easton earlier in the year but he is playing some pretty bad football. His innacuracy is concerning and his underthrows/timing issues show that he just isn't processing what's unfolding on the field quickly enough. Even the completion to a wide open Wentz was a slow read/decision and poor throw. I hope he can get it together.
On the brighter side, it's nice to see the ground game so effective against a tough D. I hadn't previously been too excited about Chase getting carries but he is running really well. Was that our first 60+ yd TD run of the year? Also good to see the D stepping up the past couple weeks. If we are going to make another championship run it will be because of a stifling, nasty playoff defense like last year and 2011. They will have to carry this team because the offense is very inconsistent.

Passing game in general has really regressed throughput the course of the year.
