    Default FCS Week 10

    Three games to watch...
Samford at The Citadel 1 p.m. ESPN3- Basically Samford is all that stands in The Citadel's way in locking up the SoCon title. Samford is sitting at 4-1 in confernece play while The Citadel is undefeated at 6-0, with only a game against VMI left to play. This is a tricky game for The Citadel, Samford played Mississippi State very tough last Saturday in Starkville, they also beat UCA in Conway earlier this season. Devlin Hodges should be a tough test for The Citadel's defense, Hodges has thrown for almost 3,000 yards in 2016 and has 28 TDs. That said, Samford's prolofic passing attack can't do much damage if they are watching from the sideline while The Citadel's rushing attack gouges them on the ground, in last season's match up The Citadel ran for over 420 yards.

EWU at Cal Poly 8:05 p.m. Big Sky TV- This is a dangerous road trip for EWU. CP's option offense can be a lot to contain, especially for an EWU team that at times struggles to stop the run. CP wil have to put that rushing attack into overdrive this week though and even then it is no garauntee. Last year CP rushed for over 500 yards at EWU, scored 41 points but still fell short in Cheney. If CP is going to spring the upset they'll need to force some turnovers, it is hard for a rushing team to beat EWU in a track meet. Your defense really needs to make some plays.

James Madison at Richmond 2:30 p.m. SNY: 639 / CSBA: 696- Two top 10 teams clash in the CAA, the winner of this game will most likely lock up a playoff seed while the loser will be fighting it out with a few others for the final seed. This game also has massive CAA title implications, JMU is undefeated in league play while Richmond is one of five one loss teams. Richmond is coming off a bye week so they should be ready and rested for JMU, that said the Dukes are coming off a 84-7 drubbing over Rhode Island where they didn't have to break a sweat. Both teams are all playing their best football of the season, this should be a classic CAA tilt.

We all live in stories... It seems to me that a definition of any living vibrant society is that you constantly question those stories... The argument itself is freedom. It's not that you come to a conclusion about it. Through that argument you change your mind sometimes... That's how societies grow. When you can't retell for yourself the stories of your life then you live in a prison... Somebody else controls the story. - S. Rushdie

Watching this SHSU game, their offense is tough and I can see how it can be nightmare but their defense is a mess. If they played EWU records could be broken.
