The basketball venue is a joke. Nice professional job on the seating by the way. Just amazing how this is being handled........no, actually shameful. Oh and I called it a long time ago and got ridiculed here. At least a dozen times as this project was proposed I referred to it as "10 lbs in a 5 lb bag". You could see it in the plans. Now it is reality.

The seating is a problem...it is funny that a phone call would be needed. He knows it is a problem. He doesn't need a phone call to get it fixed. That is just silly. What he wants/needs to know is if that will keep people away. I went to for my eye apt and the optometrist asked me about the SHAC. He was interested in getting season tickets next year and after I told him about the seating he said that was it, not doing it (he is 6'5" or so). I mentioned he should go to a game first as some changes had been made. Maybe I should have told him to call Simmers first.

Why dont you send your constructive criticism to PS? Im sure he would be interested in know how you would handle this situation.

Wow, a lot of elitist thinking going on here. "I wrote a check to NDSU so they should consult me about every issue." How about if you have any constructive criticism, write an email. An athletic department is not a democracy. Be happy that NDSU athletics strives for great facilities as well as great coaches and student athletes.

Our space has improved.
One thing that would help is if they had a coat check. Maybe a service club project. I will call and suggest this.
When i askd why they didnt have Bison Crunch ice cream they were stunned. A huge cup of ice cream for 3 bucks beats fargodome cardbd pretels!!

I wouldn't waste my time with PS on this issue. I do know for a fact, that if you send an email to ML, he will read it.

Go to a game and make your own determination.
They want input now that they have made adjustments. This info will help in dealing with the installing company. There is a lot of finger pointing right now between them so if people want the change they need to help.

I had three buddies with me last night and it was first time for two of them inside the SHAC. They thought the seat room was good. No different than other arenas. Three of us are over 6'1". My season seats are better after the adjustments that were made. Love the SHAC.

Our seats seem better also. I didn't seem to hit my knees anymore, or I am just getting used to it
