I'm a lefty so that short wall in right was a guaranteed double every time I was up.

The university in the last 15 years has added a track facility, a softball facility, a brand new basketball arena and remodeled Dacotah Field as a soccer facility. The bubble is good enough and I hardly think a recruit is going to go "nah, no IPF, I'm going to UND!" All that said, we will eventually get one and then what will we complain about?
It's not all about recruiting though. Klieman said on his TV show that some years the weather goes bad early (before the bubble goes up) and the dome is booked so we end up practicing outdoors in garbage weather which has no benefit when we're playing indoors. It's actually a negative then during an important time of the year. Also when the weather is bad, the bubble can take a week or so longer to go up.

The Green and The Gold Collective is excited to announce our #DriveToFive membership campaign. The goal of this campaign is to get to 500 monthly members. Reaching this goal will help us provide financial support to NDSU student athletes, including every returning member of the football team that saw action on the field last year!

Still not in disagreement. IPF will happen, everybody has said it will.

Now the Softball Complex is funded, the next step will be the IPF. Can't wait to see the plans and cost. I hope they don't only hold out for the big donors... the little guys will pay to fund this too

I bet they pay more attention to detail on the new IPF than they did on the SHAC. They won’t cut corners on this facility even though it’s for practice.

What corners would you say they cut on the SHAC? Other than making a more impressive basketball arena with permanent seating seems pretty nice to me. Tagged along with the kids on the last Junior Bison day tour (best dad perk ever!) and all the behind the scenes stuff seemed pretty impressive.

I'd even say the exterior design is pretty nice. For comparison I'd say USD's facility has a more impressive arena but the exterior just looks like a mess.

They've added roasted corn salsa to the tacos in a bag now so the leg room doesn't bother my anymore.

Tatanka went to a Mavs game on Sunday. He said the leg room was worse than the shac. Plus the seats were really small. I have a picture. Only way he got in that seat was with grease and a shoehorn.
