It was epic, and people made sure they went times 2 and 3.

Frisco year 1. Again, didn't know what to expect many didn't go. The Marriott Pep Rally legend grows bigger every year. 20k people were at it and they drank a Million in beer. That story is that big.

This is what type of event target field will become. MYTHIC, Epic, ELITE

    You'lll be there.

I'd be happy if they brought 1,000. Maybe we convince them that it's a basketball game?

No, as opposed to whatever else a person was going to do with that weekend.

We all live in stories... It seems to me that a definition of any living vibrant society is that you constantly question those stories... The argument itself is freedom. It's not that you come to a conclusion about it. Through that argument you change your mind sometimes... That's how societies grow. When you can't retell for yourself the stories of your life then you live in a prison... Somebody else controls the story. - S. Rushdie

So if you have nothing else going on in your life that is fun this is your best option?

Well I'm pretty sure it will be more fun than the MVSU and Robert Morris games.

Thread bump. IIRC that the Twins and NDSU were both more than pleased with the turnout and outcome of the Target Field experiment. Did someone IE: Matt Larson or David St. Peter kind of leave the door open for another event in the future or was I just dreaming that.

I think they very much did leave the door open for future games. I know ML said they wanted to 'explore games LIKE this one" in the future. who knows what that means. I thought it was great.

I'd take a regular FBS game over the Target field game 100/100, no doubt about it, not even close. I would GUESS, the next one is maybe UND's next home game against us. probably would make way more money then a standard home game, and so would we.

Based on nothing but conjecture of course, lol
    1. The FCS was the Best option for NDSU for a very long time.
    2. As a general rule- the FCS sucks at football and has proven that is not committed to football at all.
    3. It's time to go FBS
