There is pent up demand for NDSU football in the ciites. I would venture to guess most from the TC don't even try to get tickets in Fargo. As they are still a tough ticket. Someone made comment that this years tickets have been easier to come by, that is the opponent not the product. This weekend tickets are not available.

With that said. TC folks will attend the game. Fargo/ND folks will go to Minneapolis. Its easy trip, we go there anyways.

IF there is less than 30k at this game that is a failure on the part of Team Makers and the athletic department.

I might be wrong but I doubt we travel 4 hours to watch NDSU pound Butler
Well it's 3 hrs. And it's more for the experience and an excuse to hit up dt mpls

It's hard to say exactly how this will turn out, but I'll be pretty surprised if they can't sell 20-25K tickets and I think more is possible. As has been stated, there are a lot of fans in MN that can't go to games and this is in their backyard.

Yes, the football game will be poor. Two of the three first games this year have been as well and this game will have the unique element of Target Field in downtown MSP. I realize there are some that aren't excited by that at all, but many others are very excited about it.

If they play their cards right, they can make this into a spectacular event. I've heard they're trying to make it a "weekend" or full day of stuff but I don't have any details on that.

I'm not sure how/if there will be tailgating but to me this is a different experience and more about bar-gating due to the unique location.

Try something new, embrace the experience, get a passpo.......wait, I'm getting a little off here so I'll stop now.

    Interesting dialog...

It seems to me that a game being discussed two years in advance is a bigger deal that most would admit. That said, I can only speak for myself. And my extended family. Should be one hell of a good time.
