Coach Charlie Fisher is doing this (5-1 record, Northern Illinois win)
with a young team. Only see 3 senior starters on the Leathernecks' 2-deep.
WR Lenoir and WR Borsellino, also RG Matt Zobrist.
Sophomore QB Sean McGuire beat out senior Trenton Norvelle for the job.
Big, physical runner (6' 3" 220). Will be interesting to see if WIU tries the
SDSU game plan with Norvelle actively looking to run. Was expecting NDSU
to do more spying on the QB last weekend than I remember seeing, so
will be looking for that on defense today.
Next weekend the 'Necks go to Vermillion and play their old coach,
Bob Nielson, at his new job as the 'Yote head coach.
Almost every game seems to be a big one in the Valley......

Ok the coaches are just immune then from real life happening too?? I'm not saying that the coaches didn't have a rough game also but they had to do a whole lot more than just football last week. It's been a full week since the game. It's time to get past it, and let's see if the coaches have adjusted also then.

Just my opinion but I don't know how much "spying" the QB would have helped last week on most of the QB runs. Multiple times on their bigger runs they got us to adjust to their strength then they ran at a bubble in our defense and brought more blockers than we had defenders. It was a very smart plan and would have worked whether we had a spy or not.
