    Default FCS Week 6

    Top 5 games to watch...
Youngstown State at ISU 2 p.m. CSNC: 665- Can the Redbirds get their season back on track? Basically their last shot to right the ship is this week's game with the Penguins coming to town. Big test for YSU as well, if they want to get back to being a playoff team these are the games you need to win.
Indiana State at Western Illinois 3 p.m. ESPN3- Another game featuring two teams with playoff hopes, the Leathernecks got rolled by the Rabbits last week and this game against the Trees should show if they have the resolve a playoff team needs to pick themselves up and dust off a little adversity.
Colgate at Lehigh 11:30 a.m.- Big game in the Patriot League, Colgate was the preseason favorite to win but the Red Raiders have struggled to a 1-3 start meanwhile Lehigh has rolled off 3 straight against the Ivy League. For both teams the autobid is everything, a win here would be a great way to start conference play.
Tennessee State @ Eastern Illinois- 5 p.m. EIU was looking like a potential playoff team until they stubbed their toe against SEMO last week, meanwhile Tennessee State has surged to a 4-0 start. The loser of this game could be on the outside looking in come playoff selection.
Richmond at Albany 2:30 p.m. - This week's FCS game of the week features the 4-0 Albany Great Danes, in my opinion the surprise team in the FCS. Both Richmond and Albany have FBS wins, the Great Danes beat Buffalo and Richmond took down Virginia. Richmond has recovered nicely from a blowout loss to Stony Brook, the Spiders are 4-1 and looking to reassert themselves as an FCS contender. A win at 4-0 Albany would be the best way to do that and for the Great Danes a win over Richmond will send a message to the rest of the CAA that they have arrived.

USD beats UNI. Surprise with this.

UNI's offense needs some work. Bailey looks to run too much. I'm sure they will be ready for the Bison.

Why would you be surprised? They beat us last year and most everyone is thinking we may drop a MVCF game this year.

I'm surprised because UNI has Bailey and Smith as a two headed monster in the run game and their defense has been playing well.

SIU's QB has the left eye, eye black going. Must be a TLC fan.

I don't care how the vote ended up. They still suck and always will.
