    Default Illinois State Pregame Thread

Finally the rematch from the chipper two years ago.

The Redbirds beat B1G Northwestern in week two, but are coming in on a low after dropping back-to-back games to Eastern Illinois and Indiana State

    Looking good Billy Ray!

This is absolutely not the team we met in Frisco 2 years ago.

We are absolutely not the team we were two years ago either. Comparing this upcoming game to the Championship game two years ago is night and day.

It will still be a tough win for us I'm thinking.

I think a telling statistic is that ISU-B had 208 yards (4.8 yards) on 44 carries and 2 TD's on the ground. I'd like to think our offensive line will be able to control the line of scrimmage ever better than ISU-B did.

From what I have seen so far from the Redbirds this season is that their defense is alright at best, while their offense is definitely struggling without having the likes Roberson or Coprich. However, Warrum is still a beast.

If NDSU plays like they did against Iowa, this will be a fairly good win for the Bison.

    Robbins is out six weeks.

    Bridges is now at corner.

    Kelley is back at safety.

Not sure what to think about the Redbirds. They have dropped 2 games after beating Northwestern. Bison by 2 TD's.

How often does a WR become a CB? With his catching ability, he might be a pretty good threat for INTs.

    Also, what happened to Robbins?
