Game is a cool idea. Hope they get it done. Nice change of pace. Family would enjoy it provided it was against a not terrible team.

2006, 2007, and 2009 were the only three with fewer than 6 home games.

We all live in stories... It seems to me that a definition of any living vibrant society is that you constantly question those stories... The argument itself is freedom. It's not that you come to a conclusion about it. Through that argument you change your mind sometimes... That's how societies grow. When you can't retell for yourself the stories of your life then you live in a prison... Somebody else controls the story. - S. Rushdie

As I said before, I don't care too much but I'd like to see it at least once. If you really feel one tailgate and season ticket are so important you'd rather see the likes of Ferris and Delaware State in Fargo than to take a chance on something with big potential, so be it, I can't speak for you. But just keep in mind that Bison football has pretty much gone as far as it can right now and without a new stadium and/or move to FBS there is nowhere else to go from here. This is one way to help it keep growing. And I am talking about football here, not basketball, wrestling, or any other sport this game would not affect one bit.
It's melodrama only when everyone doesn't agree with you.

Like I said I'm not opposed to it but dismissing the fact that tailgating is kind of a big deal to a fan base that has custom painted busses lined up for a mile overnight is well, kind of silly.

That's in part to the fact The Great West had like 4 teams. 2009 sure sucked though. It's probably good we didn't play 6 games that year!

This seems like something more for a 12-game season.

For one thing, that way NDSU still gets 6 home games. For another, whoever NDSU is bringing in (say a CAA team) - they can still get their 6 home games too.

Also, rather do this at the Vikings stadium.

This is the absolute worst idea to come out of the NDSU Athletic Department since the decision was made to go to Frisco five years in a row. C'mon, Frisco, TX, 5 years in row for a "home" away game at a soccer field? Football pep rallies at a minor league baseball stadium?
What? Frisco was a "home" game!?? Son-of-a-bitch, somebody forgot to put MY Frisco tickets in my season ticket package all these years!

And of course Alabama isn't giving up money, as he mentioned that's his point. I'm pretty confident NDSU wouldn't either. You'll notice they didn't just jump in and agree to something on the spur of the moment. It needs to make sense, and they appear to be doing their due diligence.
Ive talked to many who think the opponent is the deal breaker and they also think the BB stadium is a bad idea and they dont want to lose a home game.

So whats the difference of Ferris or Delaware in Fargo or the cities? You going to the cities to watch the game?

Apparently some people break wood over the thought of going to Minneapolis. I don't consider myself to be a world traveler but Minneapolis isn't on my top 100,000 list of places I want to see before I die. There's a reason I choose to live in Fargo and in the lakes area.

But that is just my opinion. I'm probably wrong
