I'm not in favor of NDSU doing something stupid to help the Twins president out who happens to be a UND grad.

If NDSU wants to have a game in the TC's it should be at a real football stadium preferably the Vikings new stadium and against a quality opponent with no loss of a home game either.

Yep there were a bunch who said that back when this fiasco started. Matt Larson sure as hell didnt come up with an idea to play in a baseball stadium. The twins were the ones who approached us because of how we travel. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ for them to fill some dates.

When you play football, you gotta like the taste of blood, And 50 percent of the time, it's your blood.

It is characteristic of the unlearned that they are forever proposing something which is old, and because it has recently come to their own attention, supposing it to be new.

It is horrible. Absolutely atrocious. Look at the sideline tickets. The good seats behind home plate and along the 3rd base line, which would normally be the premium sideline seats are unusable with a ridiculous amount of space between the side lines and the front row. It makes the end zone seats and corner end zones the best which really sucks. On the opposite sideline, the good sideline seats are small in numbers, too far away from the field, and way up high because of the wall.
This is a horrible idea. There is a reason they quit making multi purpose baseball football stadiums. Angles would turn your neck at a weird angle. They are terrible

Ive been saying this since day one. This is nothing more than a gimmick for them to make some money. The only upside to this game is if its against a high profile opponent. Playing against a tomato can does nothing for recruiting or exposure.

Some of these angles are so bad it actually faces away from the field. When we're in the red zone, the entire section will be spooning each other in a train like fashion.

Youre right. A terrible idea is a still terrible idea. For NDSU that is. For them it makes $$$$$$ sense.

You could bring in bleaches for that one sideline and thats what they used to do. But that was for the whole season. They arent going to put up 10k seat bleaches for one game.

Ive been to numerous football games in baseball stadiums and its just a bad idea. As you said--theres a reason they dont do it anymore.

Better than the angle I'll have tomorrow, which would be from outside the Fargodome.

Look, this isn't going to be their new home field. It's a fun one-or-two off event to draw attention and make money. There have been many teams doing this the past few years.
