While 40,000+ may or may not happen I do think you're probably right that this will be the biggest crowd of Bison fans ever at a single event. Judging from the ticket map it looks likes the first deck is gone except for a few sections by the "outfield endzone" and then the crappy seats up the right field line that face the Bison sideline. The entire Legends club (lettered sections) are gone and a good chunk of the 2nd deck (orange sections) are gone. Here's a screen cap:

Not bad for a game 10 months away still.

There are still 357 tickets left in the north end zone. Those will be pretty good seats I would think.
Only 37 tickets left in sections 132-135. Great view from there.
Above that sections 237-240 are mostly available. Those will be in the sun (if shining) but are no farther from field than upper deck west side.
Only 1 ticket left in section 124.
Section 127 has 298 tickets left.
Sections 225 and 226 mostly full with 227 and 228 empty.
Sections 206 thru 219 mostly empty.
Sections 105 thru 116 are mostly open except 108 is filling up first.
Upper deck 306 thru 327 are mostly open except 322 is filling up first.

Ten months until game day with most of the cheaper seats still available. I'm hoping attendance will exceed the Gopher-Rabbit game two days earlier!

Anyone know if Butler fans are getting the same opportunity to purchase early?

I doubt it since people who bought single-game NDSU tickets don't get a chance to buy until Nov 1st.
It's OK to not be OK.

They're part of it as well but I don't know if their "stakeholders" got access yesterday or tomorrow or some other time before 11/8.

    Ticketing Information
Tickets for the game will go on sale to the general public Thursday, Nov. 8, with special presale opportunities for NDSU, Butler and Minnesota Twins stakeholders beforehand. General seating tickets to the event will range from $20 to $58 for the 3:00 p.m. game (gates open at 1:00 p.m.).
I would guess they bought a handful of tickets at best if they did give them access.

Anyone else find it odd that Butler, the team the Bison play for this event, has gotten like zero respect and everyone is confident the Bison will roll them? Yet Butler went in to the Igloo and beat YSU, and people are getting called our for being too confident about the game this weekend?

Anyone calculate how many tickets have been sold to this point?

Wow, I thought there would be good demand, but this seems to be off to a really strong start. Keep in mind that since they are letting everyone buy up to 25, some of the "unwashed masses" demand may already be filled.

Not really. Youngstown is way more familiar with the Bison. How many teams fair well against the Bison the first time they play them?
