It's not like VA tech is winning any national titles anytime soon. I'm in
Don't you think if we go anywhere we should be working on one of the Arizona schools? Or has that been beaten to death?

It is characteristic of the unlearned that they are forever proposing something which is old, and because it has recently come to their own attention, supposing it to be new.

Well no more BIG10, easy direct flights to phoenix area, huge fanbase already just chillin (more like frying) down there waiting for a game, we look like we are targeting the PAC12 already but why Oregon over Arizona, Arizona teams are beatable any given year and are part of the P5, VA Tech mentioned earlier which makes less sense, Need another reason to visit my friends down there who turned into huge Bison fans and have been to the last 2 championship games in Frisco, scheduling FBS opponents are becoming an obvious pain in the ass so the footprint needs to expand and Arizona pops into mind immediately for reasons above, and...without Val Kilmer, Tombstone wouldn't be the great western that it is, he should have AT LEAST been nominated for an Oscar...
The Val Kilmer point is well made. The argument against would have to come along the line of who would you remove from the best supporting nominees. To me it looks like a pretty stellar list:
Tommy Lee Jones "The Fugitive" Winner
Leonardo DeCaprio "What's Eating Gilbert Grape"
Ralph Fiennes "Schindler's List"
John Malkovich "In the Line of Fire"
Peter Postlethwaite "In the Name of the Father"

We all live in stories... It seems to me that a definition of any living vibrant society is that you constantly question those stories... The argument itself is freedom. It's not that you come to a conclusion about it. Through that argument you change your mind sometimes... That's how societies grow. When you can't retell for yourself the stories of your life then you live in a prison... Somebody else controls the story. - S. Rushdie
My criteria is simple as this....Hypothetically speaking, could you replace an Oscar award winning actor from the movie with another actor and achieve the same results, meaning everything from box office to personal feelings? Another words, does the movie make the actor or does the actor make the movie? Go down the list above and ask yourself this question.
I think if Val Kilmer would have not been in Tombstone, that movie would have failed...because the movie in itself is not that great, the script is amazing but the the film overall is choppy and not well put together and at times too convenient, the third act seems hurried and weak, maybe a different director may have helped but the editing was atrocious.
Tombstone without Val Kilmer would just be another average Western IMO. He is the reason why Tombstone reached the cult status it did, although I loved Kurt Russell as well.
Sorry for digressing from this thread, back to discussing possible teams that will never ever schedule this game at Target Field.
