The venue looked fantastic on TV! Thanks a million to the Twins!

I was just waiting for that ball to come back down. Had a lot a loft on it and almost looked like it was going to be way short. Was pretty awesome to see Sproles catch it from our view down the goal line.
Run the damn ball!! PRO FBS
Wow what a terrible idea for a venue /Purple
The dirt infield was pretty distracting on TV.
But still way better than Roos Field.

The other question I had was: how was the viewing in right field? Looked like the seats were pretty far away based on the map, but on TV they didn’t look bad.

Have some friends who sat up there and said it was just fine. Seats are set back a bit but way up high so very good view of the whole field.
I would naturally prefer a purpose built football stadium like TCF Bank but given a choice between Bison football at Target Field vs Fargodome I will take the former. In August, September and October. If it’s not raining.
Oh and that dirt looked pretty firm to me. I did not see a lot of slipping by players and I would assume that dirt would lessen injury rather than increase it. PLUS it has to be a big bonus to those players who get their uni all trashed up with dirt stains. I’m thinking like #49 for Butler. There was no question that he was in the game.

Don't believe everything you think.
A couple of secondary benefits from the Target field game:
All the great pictures for future marketing materials of NDSU fans filling a venue in downtown Minneapolis. So many great looking shots to remind a target market of the beauty of Bison football.
All the whiny bitching of gophers fans on social media about NDSU tearing up the twins field for supposed sub standard football. The tears are refreshing.
