A lot of the potential revenue will be based on how much time and effort Team makers, NDSU Development Foundation and the university put into the event. My understanding is NDSU gets a guarantee to play this game. But from there the university organizations could have any number events that could be used to raise money off the weekend. The first that comes to mind is to have a Bison Bidders Type event either at Target Field or close to Target Field after the game. Have ex bison greats attend and have a program similar to what the alumni association does at homecoming in Fargo. This opens the concept to the NDSU alumni in the twin cities. First and major issue that comes to mind is the conflict between alumni association and athletic/teammakers. As athletic department gets nothing from the Bison Bidders Bowl. Whether its alumni or athletics, this is a cash cow opportunity.
Second, sponsorships could be sold. First quarter sponsored by Moore Engineering. They can use it as a recruiting tool for employees both in Fargo and Minneapolis. Sell each quarter.
Suites- I don't know if NDSU gets access to any suites, but again if they do, potential revenue.
This list can go on and on. Whether any of this is being done. Who knows.
