Who wants to see a football game in a baseball stadium far away from the field with a big chunk of the field played on sand? Also against some lame opponent. If I want a big game experience I will wait and spend my money to go see the Bison play in a real football venue against an FBS opponent. What a joke, Bison fans are not like NAIA Johnnie fans that got all excited about playing in a big venue regardless of the configuration.

But we could have had a home game in the dome, $50 a ticket X 19000 = $950,000. And the Butler game is "depending on attendance".

FBS schools don't want to play us, our admin's hands are forced. They need to be creative or you stagnate and that is death.

They have a stadium in Fargo that is hard capped in regards to capacity and there are tons of fans in the Twin Cities....they need to take a chance like this. Maybe if this goes well we play at the Viking stadium.

This is really a marketing gimmick game targeting all of the Bison fans in the cities and surrounding area. Plus they know a certain % of season ticket holders will make the trip as well. There has to be a guarantee so NDSU loses nothing. It is what it is.
