Definitely no cold weather in early October in Springfield. Typically low to mid 70's is the norm. October in the mid-south has typically some of the nicest weather of the year. Wife and I anticipate going to that game since it is only three hours from home.

Too many other trips already planned in October and November. Also, with Kmart and Sears on the brink of collapse, I can't justify to my company setting up meetings with them to offset travel costs.

Looks like we might leave "early" Saturday morning and drive down. Stay over somewhere in Iowa on the way back. I got to convince them we need to leave Friday night. I will take all day Friday off not sure if the others want to do that. We will stop by though. THanks
