Wow you are on top of it. SDSU played Drake, not butler. USD beat Weber St, not Northern Arizona. Northern Arizona was beaten by the "meh" Western Illinois, who also beat Eastern Illinois pretty handily.

SDSU has a bad defense for sure but worst defense ever is pretty out there. They aren't at SIU or Misery St level of last year, at least not yet.

But I agree with the concept you were attempting to convey.

Seriously though, the OP inadvertently brings up a good point. You have to bring your A game every week. These FBS wins (or moral victorys, depending on the team) are good, but they have the ability to set your team up for a big let down the next week. Ill. State is a prime example. It's a good thing we have a bye week heading into the ISUr game in order to get the kids an extra week to let the big high dissipate and then get down to business in preparing for the next game. Every week is a meat grinder, there is no time to celebrate a big win.

Lets not kid ourselves, ISUr is still a very good team and we will need to bring our A game in order to come away with the W.

So, you must disapprove of Klieman than since he said in the post-game presser that FCS was perfect for NDSU. Maybe you should turn your attention to the Goophers since you are so effing disappointed?
