    Default EWU Postgame thoughts

Game is not quite over yet, but I'll start this thread now.

A few thoughts thus far ...
    a) Bison are finding a way to win (so far), a mark of a champion. this is good.
    b) Too many penalties, mental errors. I assume this will get better as the season progresses, but Bison are squandering opportunities.
    c) Three players so far have held the ball out headed for the endzone, did not appear any were necessary. Morlock, Dunn, DeLuca (interception return). This is risky, for a variety of reasons.
    d) Offense overall looking good
    e) Defensive backfield is inconsistent.

Two weeks in a row? That took years off my life.

A lot to clean up but 2-0 going into Iowa. That's all that matters.

Also the refs were terrible this game. Slowing things down. Calling everything under the sun on both teams.

Uff-da. I'll take the win, but I don't like our defense being taken out of their element.
    Hail the BISON!!!

Our defensive game plan and execution was terrible, but you also have to take your hats off to the EWU QB and receivers. Their QB made some great throws under pressure too and the WR's made some good, physical catches. Some of the deep catches were contested well, but the WR's got better position and made the most of it.

As I mentioned in the game thread, we look like a good FCS team...something we aren't use to.
