That is because our secondary...especially safeties are horrible. Need to have extra defenders and they still can't cover.

Extra defenders aren't helping so you might as well bring pressure instead..

Up-tempo teams that can pass are our kryptonite I'm afraid this year..

Passing QB's still need to eat some turf on a regular basis. 8 seconds to stand there looking for a receiver is not a game plan for winning.
