Top 5 Games To Watch:
Montana State at Idaho 8 p.m. Altitude/ESPN3- Idaho will soon be a Big Sky member but for now they remain a member of the FBS, should be a winnable game for MSU and a previw of a future Big Sky conference rivalry.
South Dakota at New Mexico Root Sports NW/RM/SW- USD begains the post Joe Glenn era with an interesting FBS game. New Mexico was a bowl team last year but they were a rather weak one. Could be a chance for new coach Bob Nielson to make a huge statement right out of the gates.
EWU at Washington State 7 p.m. PAC 12 Network- Two teams that don't play defense on national TV? Sign me up!
Richmond at UVA 2:30 p.m.- UVA has an all-new coaching staff in 2016 after a 4-8 season last year. This is likely the best shot for a P5 FCS upset in week one.
North Dakota @ Stony Brook 6 p.m. - I guess this is the FCS game of the week? Not a lot of great FCS-FCS action, SBU was 5-5 last year but did finish the season on a 3 game winning streak. UND as most know fell victim to the greatest screwing if FCS playoff history by the selection committee per those that live in the alternative reality bubble that is Grand Forks. Both teams will be looking to make a statement in 2016, should be a defensive battle. SBU held their opponent under 10 points in all five of their wins last season, four of which were at home.
