Let's hope we can land this Hayes kid. Would be huge. Also the other 2 verbals we got, one of them had an SDSU offer and is the taller kid we need.

All this. I believe Hill saw the writing on the wall. Much like Chuol's decommitment, there might have been too much competition.

Kid looked impressive tho, lots of speed. Hope this is a sign that hayes will be joining us.

Yes, he looked impressive, but keep in mind that there are a lot of fast athletes out there. Hence, why it is hard to find many plays in a game where a player can outright run away from everyone else on the field.

I don't think our depth chart had anything to do with this. SDSU just did a great job and sold their story. He felt comfortable. They spoke his language so to speak. Will be fun to play against him now. Kid has to WANT to be a Bison. This kid didn't. Chuol's decommit was totally different.
Everyone just relax, all right? Believe me, if there's one thing Ron Burgundy knows, it's women.

Always better to find out this isn't the case with a kid before signing day. Good luck to him. History repeating itself is not going to be an enjoyable lesson for him in college.

I do like that we are getting some bigger receivers this year. We have definitely missed that big strong athletic receiver this past year

How about the potential of landing Marcus Hayes, who also is from Illinois? Did Hill feel threaten by this?

Also, what kind of mumble jumble is SDSU is selling kids that makes them more appealing than NDSU? I can see it happening in wrestling because of Chris Bono and Jon Reader are highly established wrestlers themselves, but Stig only reminds me of Papa Smurf.

We also seem to be recruiting big QB's too. Most seem to be Wentz's size. Hopefully, they have the potential to have his mental and physical skills.
