I wouldn't say fool but certainly not media savvy. They didn't get a very good pool of candidates so they picked this guy who will need some on the job training. He certainly fits the current SBOE wish list of a "moldable" Prez and is likely to be exactly what we get if we allow them to run Dean off.

It appears no one up there had or has any control of $$ spent on athletics. And, the layers of committees and appointees is really just a way of buffering blame where it belongs/should be. It's like "we're all in this together" so even if it doesn't get fixed, there is no specific person to blame and or if drastic measure are needed/taken, it's likewise.
