You know what would be great? To have UN_ to succeed at the same time NDSU does. I've always wondered if NDSU success would still be a problem is that happened. I'm guessing the answer is yes.

Honestly, I think the malcontents are against any NDSU success that casts a shadow over UND. Which means, UND would have to be extremely successful. Right now, they're suffering from the numerous times they shot themselves in the foot over the past decade and a half.

UND didn't have the deck stacked against them. Playing by the rules during Chapman's time wouldn't have gotten NDSU anywhere.

Didn't argue any of that. However if Chapman wouldn't have been removed when he was, the answer to some of your questions aren't the same. Kudos to him for rolling the dice with NDSU's future, good thing for you guys someone from the outside stepped in when they did, despite the protests from supporters.
