Only small people attempt to elevate themselves by hoping other's fortunes will decline.

The fact that Bresciani is a thorn in Jacob's side says more about Mike Jacobs than it does about Dean Bresciani.

I don't know, that letter said nothing but "shut up we have a good football team and und sucks".

If you're going to try to defend Dr. B in this environment I think the football team needs to be completely left out or your argument.
Some say it's a backward place. Narrow minds on a narrow way, but I make it a point to say. That that's where I come from.

I agree. There was no real rational argument to support Dr. Bresciani. It almost made NDSU look bad by such an emotional reaction. I am guessing that is why the Forum printed it. And calling someone an idiot (it was the headline, too), looked unfortunate plus the Old Outhouse comment was juvenile.

The football argument. Dr. Bresciani was not on the Fargodome field. He had nothing to do with its success except perhaps secondarily being a supporter of athletics.

Let me translate this “editorial” for everyone. MJ - “I’m mad at DB because despite lopsided state subsidies to my preferred university, UND is still getting it’s ass kicked by NDSU, and we need to cling to an antiquated overly socialist model of Higher Ed in order to have any prayer of ever turning this around.”
LOL. That's a pretty accurate conclusion. Mike Jacobs is a liar in this editorial.

Perhaps if Dr. B does NOT get the Ohio job, I will try dash off a letter to the editor. But if he does, it will not matter anymore. I believe we should know soon on the outcome of the Ohio job.

Sycophant - anyone notice that Mike Jacobs used the exact same term that the Diary Queen pariah also uses to describe NDSU supporters? Looks like both get their marching orders from the same source.

You know the Herald and the anti-NDSU crowd would have loved to have found he opposed the F'Hawks joining. Of course, there were "rumors" he was against, that is what they were hoping to happen.
