Oops, Covell's career ending injuries were knee related. Back, knee, brain, whatever........too many careers cut short......sad.

So, question is will MN offer catch attention of WI or other B1G schools? NE offer killed us with IA kid last year.

Another big guy that had to quit due to injuries was offensive lineman Jeff Jerve. He hung it up after playing some in 2010 and sitting out a season in 2011. I believe during his Junior season in 2012 he could no longer play. Sad when promising careers are shortened by injuries. I had the opportunity to meet and talk with Jeff Jerve this past fall when as a highway patrolman he pulled me over for speeding in central Minnesota.

Wasn't it an Iowa offer that took an Iowa kid away from NDSU last year?

One big recruit we lost last year was Gabe Lloyd to Wisconsin.

Wasn't Beyer the Iowa kid that turned NDSU down and went to Iowa instead?

But NE stated the process by offering... Then IA matched.
